Ignite Academy's purpose is to educate, train and prepare students for their transition after graduation. Ignite offers pathways for all students, whether it be transitioning to the workplace or pursuing a two or four year degree. Students that are enrolled at Ignite will not just be exposed to the skills within the pathway, but experience a business model within the pathway that will provide students with real hands-on opportunities as well as a more well rounded experience and be better prepared for life after highschool. Ignite works closely with local businesses and industry to provide a variety of work based opportunities outside the classroom (Co-op, internships, job shadowing opportunities, etc.).

Ignite has two campuses, Ignite North in Richmond and Ignite South in Berea. Students enrolled in the Madison County school system can attend either campus depending on their interest. Ignite provides visits and tours to our students to help them better understand their opportunities, as well as I go to schools and speak about Ignite. Students take interest surveys to provide us and their highschools with information to allow us to better meet their needs. By strategically scheduling, we strive to give the best possible opportunity to be successful.
